Individual Therapy (18+)

You may be holding it together on the outside while feeling anxious, exhausted, or disconnected on the inside. Individual therapy offers a space just for you to slow down, feel understood, and sort through what’s been weighing on you. You don’t need a diagnosis or a clear answer—just a sense that something isn’t right.

EMDR Therapy

You may understand what happened, yet your body and emotions still react like it’s happening now. EMDR therapy helps process experiences that feel stuck, so they lose their intensity and no longer control your reactions. Over time, many people feel calmer, more grounded, and freer to live in the present.

Couples Therapy

If you’re stuck in the same arguments, feeling disconnected, or unsure how to move forward together, couples counseling can help. Therapy offers a neutral space to slow down, understand what’s beneath the conflict, and rebuild emotional connection. It’s about finding your way back to each other—not placing blame.

Teen Therapy (for ages 13-17)

Your teen may be clearly struggling—more irritable, withdrawn, anxious, overwhelmed, or acting in unfamiliar ways. Teen therapy offers a safe, supportive space where they can talk openly, feel understood, and learn healthier ways to manage emotions and stress. It’s not about fixing your teen—it’s about helping them feel steadier, more confident, and supported as they grow.

Family Therapy

When your family feels stuck in conflict, distance, or tension, it can be exhausting and discouraging. Family therapy provides a supportive space where everyone can feel heard and patterns can begin to shift. Together, you can rebuild trust, improve communication, and move toward healthier connection.

If past experiences still affect how you react, relate, or feel inside—especially experiences you thought you “should be over by now”—you’re not alone. Many adults come to therapy carrying the impact of childhood trauma or difficult relationships, noticing it show up as anxiety, emotional shutdown, or recurring conflict in their current relationships.

I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating trauma, anxiety, relational conflict, and communication breakdowns. My passion is helping people understand how past experiences shape present patterns—and creating space for healing, trust, and more meaningful connection.

My approach is trauma-informed, client-centered, and relational at its core. I provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you can explore your experiences, improve communication, and develop coping strategies that actually fit your life. I also incorporate EMDR to help clients process unresolved trauma in a way that feels safe, supported, and empowering.

I specialize in relational healing—supporting individuals, couples, and families as they break unhelpful patterns, navigate conflict with greater understanding, and rebuild trust. Together, we focus on both insight and practical tools so change feels sustainable, not forced.

Above all, I’m here to walk alongside you as you move toward healing, growth, and deeper connection—with yourself and with others.

Clients come to me struggling and suffering and not always understanding why. These struggles can show up in many ways: difficulty connecting with others, loneliness, anxiety, low-self worth, people-pleasing, social anxiety, withdrawal, headaches, sleeplessness, stomach pain, addictions, nightmares, racing thoughts, anger, irritability…and so much more.

What many people don’t realize is that the past lives in us both emotionally and physically.

I often hear:

I should be over this already. It was so long ago.

I’ve already talked about this so why does it still bother me?

I don’t know why I’m so unhappy. I have a good life.

Just as the impact of a car accident can cause our muscles to lock up, the impact of an emotional event can cause the brain and body to lock up. We get stuck in fight-or-flight and that reaction gets triggered over and over again by every day events.

When the nervous system stays stuck in survival mode, it doesn’t just affect how we feel—it shapes how we relate, the choices we make, and how safe we feel with others.

Many of my clients have spent years in therapy, but find that simply talking about their experiences is not enough to heal what’s happening on a nervous system level.

That’s why I integrate EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing) into my talk therapy. Through EMDR, we’re able to change the neurological response to the past, and release the emotional hold it has on you.

Life can feel heavy—especially when anxiety, loneliness, or self-doubt start to shape how you see yourself and the world around you. For many people, these feelings didn’t come out of nowhere—they’re shaped by past experiences, relationships, or seasons where you had to learn how to cope on your own. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, unseen, or exhausted from carrying so much on your own, you’re not broken—and you don’t have to figure it out alone.

I especially enjoy working with women who feel anxious or depressed, who struggle with self-worth or carry the impact of earlier relational wounds, or who feel lonely even when they’re surrounded by people. I also love supporting teens who need a safe, steady adult in their corner—someone who listens, takes them seriously, and helps them make sense of a really complicated world.

My style is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I’m attachment-oriented and relational at heart, and I believe meaningful change happens when people feel genuinely seen, supported, and celebrated for who they are. Therapy with me isn’t about fixing you—it’s about walking alongside you, helping you understand what’s going on beneath the surface, and working together to problem-solve in ways that actually fit your life. Often, what’s beneath the surface makes sense once we understand the roles anxiety, attachment, and past experiences have played in shaping how you learned to cope.

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you’re not sure where to begin. Whether you’re coming in with clear goals or just a sense that something needs to change, I’d be honored to meet you where you are and support you as you take the next step forward.

If past experiences are still holding you back, you’re not alone. Many people come to therapy carrying the effects of trauma, grief, anxiety, or depression, feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves and their lives.

I work with individuals navigating the impact of complex trauma, anxiety, depression, and grief. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they begin to understand their experiences with greater compassion and move toward healing at a pace that feels right for them.

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and trauma-informed. I integrate EMDR to help reduce the intensity of intrusive memories, emotional reactivity, and nervous system overwhelm, supporting you in feeling calmer, more present, and more grounded in everyday life. I also draw from CBT, ACT, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to tailor therapy to your unique needs and goals.

I believe many trauma-related symptoms—such as anxiety, emotional numbness, intrusive thoughts, or difficulty in relationships—are responses to overwhelming experiences. In therapy, we work to understand these responses with care rather than judgment, helping you regain a sense of safety, self-compassion, and connection.

You remain in control throughout the therapeutic process. My goal is to support you in processing past experiences, building effective tools, and fostering greater resilience, empowerment, and peace moving forward.

Therapy should feel like a place where you can be fully human—especially if you’ve spent a long time holding things together, feeling misunderstood, or unsure why certain emotions or relationship patterns keep showing up.

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, particularly when anxiety, relationship challenges, or major life transitions pile up. I aim to create a safe, supportive space for individuals, couples, teens, and families to explore what’s happening and find a way forward. For many people, these struggles are shaped by earlier experiences or relational wounds that once helped you cope but no longer serve you.

My work is grounded in emotionally focused and trauma-informed care, helping clients better understand their emotions, strengthen relationships, and feel more grounded in daily life. I draw from approaches such as IFS, EFT, and CBT, tailoring therapy to your unique needs and goals.

Emotions are powerful messengers. When we learn to work with them—not against them—we open the door to deeper insight, healing, and connection. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, divorce, or communication struggles, I’ll walk alongside you with compassion, curiosity, and care.
